Transforming a home that has been cherished by a family for over three decades into a modern, functional space while preserving its rich history was both a challenging and rewarding experience. The goal was to maintain the joyful energy of the space while creating a design that the next generation could enjoy and appreciate.
One unique challenge was accommodating the needs of the grandparents—one who can’t sleep without air conditioning and the other who prefers no fan at all—within the same room. Balancing such diverse requirements while ensuring harmony was a fun and insightful task.
The end result was a beautifully transformed space that seamlessly blends tradition with modernity. The family of nine, now living together under one roof, was delighted with the outcome, and their happiness is the ultimate testament to the success of this project.
